A WordPress website for a film, TV, and events location agency based in London
The people who find the spaces for film shoots, TV and fashion week shows, for names like Burberry and Hermès. A big, varied catalogue of locations, made easy to browse whoever’s looking.
The Challenge
Locations London sources locations for both film and TV productions and live events – brand launches, fashion week shows, activations for names like Burberry and Hermès – which is a genuinely broad remit to represent on one site without it feeling unfocused. Unlike some of my other projects, I wasn’t starting from a blank slate on the brand side: Locations London supplied their own brand guidelines and logo, so the job was building a site that executed that existing identity properly, matched their premium positioning, and made a large, varied location and venue catalogue easy to actually browse.
That catalogue also had to make the move intact: nearly a thousand locations and over 40,000 images, all migrated across from the old site without losing listings, galleries or the details scouts rely on.
The services also needed presenting clearly to quite different audiences at once – production companies and location scouts on the film/TV side, event and brand agencies on the other, plus freelancers and direct clients navigating the process without an agency behind them – without the site turning into an undifferentiated wall of text.

The Outcome
I built the site around the brand guidelines and logo I was given, so the finished result reads as a natural, professional extension of Locations London’s existing identity rather than a developer’s reinterpretation of it. The services were restructured into a clearer, more visual format – icon-led cards rather than plain lists – so film and TV location scouts, event agencies, freelancers, and direct clients can each quickly find the path relevant to them.
The result is a site that matches the calibre of client Locations London actually works with, across both film/TV and live events, while making a catalogue of nearly a thousand locations and venues – and more than 40,000 images – easy to navigate rather than intimidating.
