Website development for Pinney Talfourd, a Legal 500-ranked law firm
Dozens of solicitors, several offices and thousands of pieces of content, all connected. Built from an agency’s designs, the new site moved everything across with every link intact and works hand in hand with the firm’s CRM.
The Challenge
Pinney Talfourd’s new site came through an agency, with the designs already finalised – the brief was purely the WordPress build. The real complexity sat underneath the surface: the site needed to work alongside the firm’s existing CRM rather than replace it, so the data structure had to line up properly instead of fighting it.
Migration was the biggest piece of work – thousands of pieces of content had to move across from the old site to the new one, and it wasn’t a simple copy-paste job. Posts needed to stay linked to the right people, people needed to stay linked to the right offices, and all those relationships had to survive the move intact rather than getting flattened into disconnected content.

The Outcome
The site was built with a mixture of the block editor and custom fields – ACF handling the structured, relational data (a post connects to a person, a person connects to an office), with the block editor used where content needed to stay flexible for the team to manage day to day. That combination meant the migration wasn’t just moving content, it was preserving the actual structure of the firm across dozens of solicitors and multiple offices.
Testimonials, service pages, and the supporting content all carried across cleanly, with the CRM integration working as intended rather than as an afterthought bolted on. The result is a site that looks exactly as designed, built on a foundation that can keep growing – new solicitors, new offices, new content – without the relationships between them breaking down.
